Previously an open, boggy grass area, this project transformed the site into an immersive natural environment designed to grow and evolve with the children.
The East Torrens Primary School project set out to transform an outdoor area into a natural creek environment, creating a space that encourages exploration, play, and learning through interaction with natural elements.
The Roonka Adventure River Park project challenged us to create a unique aerial play experience over water for Scouts SA. The brief required a complex yet safe flying fox installation that integrated seamlessly with the existing lagoon and surrounding landscape.

This project set out to reimagine a narrow, underutilised space along the southern edge of the school oval. Previously limited by its irregular shape, large established trees, and boggy winter conditions, the area had long posed design and usability challenges.
The Seacliff Kindergarten project focused on reimagining the existing outdoor play environment to create a more engaging, cohesive and active space for children. Working closely with the site’s established landscape elements, the design sought to enhance natural features while improving usability, flow and play opportunities.
A major aim of this project is to recognise the significance of the shelter tree in Kaurna culture and foster connections made with the Kaurna community over the past nine years and take these connections to a new level.
This proposal aimed to introduce a unique short-term functional space adjacent Henley Square that coincides with Adelaide’s festival season, considers the Henley Beach identity and adds to the local communities’ assets.
