About Albie
At the heart of Albie Design Studio’s work is the belief that the best landscapes seamlessly weave nature into the built environment — creating inclusive, resilient, and engaging spaces that connect communities.
David Forte
David Forte founded Albie Design Studio in 2018, driven by a desire to create landscapes that connect people to places. Beginning his career as a visual artist, David’s creative foundation shapes the way he approaches every project — blending artistry, ecology, and functionality into spaces that feel both grounded and inspiring.
His connection to the landscape industry grew from an instinctive appreciation of the Australian environment — its textures, colours, and shifting climates — as well as a fascination with how built form and nature can coexist harmoniously. Over the years, David has worked across a diverse range of projects, from premium residential gardens and civic spaces to corporate landscapes and recreational environments.
With hands-on experience spanning all phases of design and delivery, David brings a rare mix of creative insight and practical know-how. He thrives on problem-solving through innovative design responses, ensuring every project — no matter its scale — carries a strong sense of place, purpose, and personality.
